Approve (IRE) |
||||||||||
Left stalls with blindfold on, virtually refused to race and unseated rider soon after start (jockey was unseated shortly after the Start. The rider and the Starter were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident. Jones explained that as he had tried to remove the blindfold, the gelding had put his head down causing it to slip out of his hand. He further added that WITH APPROVAL had left the stalls with the blind still in place, and that in removing it a couple of strides after the start he had become unbalanced causing him to become unseated. Being satisfied that no other horse or rider was involved, no further action was taken. WITH APPROVAL (IRE) was deemed to have started.) | ||||||||||
