Mid-division, raced keenly, headway on outer 4 out, no impression on leaders in moderate 6th after 3 out, kept on in behind into moderate 4th, not hard ridden (enq into the running and riding of the gelding, trainer said that his charge had previously run in Point to Points for Sean Doyle, Handler, and he had acquired the animal from him last December, he said that he instructed the rider to ride somewhere between half and three quarters way back in the field and to ride on the outside to give her mount plenty of light at his hurdles, he was satisfied with the ride having allowed for the fact that his charge ran very keen for much of the race possibly because it was ridden with no cover and furthermore he felt that if the rider had been stronger his charge might have finished closer, in his opinion his charge ran better than expectations and in hindsight his charge would have been better suited to getting cover, jockey confirmed the instructions given to her, she added that her mount jumped very good but ran very keen in a steady pace until settling about four furlongs from the finish, she said that she was concerned about her mount getting home and in the circumstances she rode hands and heels while slapping her mount from the third last hurdle, she admitted that through lack of riding opportunities she was not fully fit, having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanations but advised the jockey that she must make more of an effort in future) (tchd 25/1)
