He informed stewards that gelding had not run since sustaining a serious tendon injury last October and that the animal has a nasal problem as a result of a facial injury he suffered as a young horse, adding the problem is more pronounced when the horse races on softer ground. The jockey confirmed these instructions, adding, that having tracked the winner early in the straight, his mount began to hang and he kept him together bearing in mind that this was his first run since a serious injury; jockey said gelding made a noise in running.)
