Settled in rear of mid-division, headway near side under 2f out to challenge on terms entering final furlong, ridden to lead narrowly inside final furlong and kept on well close home where strongly pressed, just held on (trainer later said, regarding the apparent improvement inn form, that he had been dissapointed with the fillies previous run and as a result carried out a number of examinations but failed to come up with an explanation to explain that poor performance; he added the filly had been extremely consistent on various types of ground and was happy that she had put the poor performance behind her) (op 14/1)
Held up towards rear, raced keenly, 11th halfway, not clear run going well over 1f out and soon switched right, progress inside final furlong where switched left and ran on well into 2nd close home, just failed (op 7/1)
Prominent until soon settled behind leaders, 5th after 2f, headway near side under 2f out where ridden, disputed lead entering final furlong until soon headed narrowly, no extra close home where dropped to 3rd
Mid-division, going well into straight, progress over 1f out, ridden into 3rd inside final furlong, no extra well inside final furlong where dropped to 4th, kept on same pace (op 14/1)
In rear of mid-division, pushed along on outer into straight, ridden 1 1/2f out and some late headway near side inside final furlong into 4th briefly, no extra in 5th near finish, dropped to 6th close home (op 25/1)
Mid-division, ran freely early, not much room 1 1/2f out and soon lost place, kept on again from over 1f out, eased in 7th close home (jockey said gelding ran free early on and got no run in the straight) (op 16/1)
Held up towards rear, pushed along on inner 2f out and took closer order 1 1/2f out where not much room and eased briefly, soon dropped towards rear, switched right in 12th inside final furlong and ran on into never threatening 8th
Mid-division, headway on inner 2f out to chase leaders, ridden over 1f out and soon weakened, eased briefly inside final furlong where short of room (op 16/1)
