Chased leaders, took keen hold, progress into 3rd with a circuit to race, went 2nd 4 out and on terms after next, headed before 2 out and soon one pace, well held in 4th when fell last (op 4/1 tchd 7/2)
Held up towards rear, pushed along with a circuit to race and soon adrift, pulled up after 5 out (jockey said gelding never travelled on the heavy ground)
