However the mare jumped slowly over the first two flights and was off the bridle until passing tired horses at the end of the back straight where she picked up the bit and ran on. The trainer stated that he was disappointed the mare had become detached so early in the race but she has dropped herself out in previous races. The vet said mare was found to be lame right fore.)
