Betting news and analysis for the final day of the 2021-22 National League season.

Where to watch

Stockport County v Halifax
BT Sport 1, 3pm Sunday

National League final-day preview

Stockport moved to within touching distance of winning the National League title with a 1-0 win over Torquay on Wednesday and County are 1-16 to be crowned champions on Sunday's final day of the season.

Dave Challinor, who was promoted from the division with Hartlepool last season, was hired in November with the task of getting County back to the EFL after 11 years in exile and his side need just a single point from their home game with Halifax.

Big-spending Wrexham are second and need to win their final game of the campaign against Dagenham & Redbridge and hope that Stockport lose to snare the title. The Dragons are 9-1 to end up first.

Eighth-placed Dagenham are in a similar situation as they pursue a playoff spot. The Daggers are three points behind Chesterfield in seventh so must beat Wrexham and rely on a favour from Woking, who travel to Chesterfield. The Daggers are 9-1 shots for a top-seven finish.

Solihull Moors are in the driving seat for third spot, which would parachute them straight into the playoff semi-finals. Moors are level on points with Halifax but have six-goal advantage on goal difference meaning a win would probably be enough to seal third regardless of what Halifax achieve at Stockport.
