New manager Mark Robins takes charge of Stoke for the first time and he can make a flying start against Plymouth at the bet365 Stadium.

Stoke have kept back-to-back clean sheets against promotion-chasing pair Sunderland and Burnley under caretaker Ryan Shawcross and will be keen to ease their relegation fears against the basement boys.

Plymouth are searching for their third manager in eight months to salvage their Championship season following Wayne Rooney’s December dismissal, but their fortunes are unlikely to change at Stoke.

Steven Schumacher, who left Plymouth for Stoke before being dismissed by the Potters in September, is odds-on favourite to be reappointed at Home Park and will surely tune into this battle between his two former clubs.

Interim boss Kevin Nancekivell will take charge of Plymouth as he aims to build on a 2-2 draw at home to Bristol City on New Year's Day. However, the Pilgrims remain winless in ten and they have been utterly useless on their Championship travels, taking only two points and scoring just three goals in 13 games.

In League Two, Notts County and Swindon look set to play out a high-scoring encounter.

The Magpies saw their three-match winning run come to an end in a 2-1 loss at home to leaders Walsall last time out, but they may feel they can bounce back against a Swindon side that have won only once in 13 attempts on the road.

However, the visitors' performances are certainly improving and both teams have scored in 12 of their last 14 league outings.
