Tracked leaders, went 2nd 5th, weakened quickly 3 out, pulled up before next (jockey said, regarding the running and riding, that his plan was to sit handy, which he was able to do, but on passing the stands on the first circuit the gelding begun to hang right handed, which he reported at scales on his return. As the gelding was hanging he allowed him to move towards the outside of the track. He added that the gelding stopped hanging until turning out of the back straight when he began to hang again. He further added that the gelding got close to the third last flight and started losing ground, so he felt it prudent to pull up in case there was a physical reason for the gelding was hanging. The rider confirmed that the gelding seemed sound on pulling up) (op 7/2 tchd 4/1 in a place) | ||||||||||
