Chased leaders until left disputing lead after 4th, headed from next and dropped to 3rd, lost place before 3 out where not fluent and dropped to 6th, weakened, pulled up before 2 out (jockey said gelding never travelled and was pulled up; vet reported the gelding to be blowing hard post race and sustained an over reach on his left fore leg and superficial wounds to his left hind limb) (op 11/8)
