Raced in rear of mid-division, pushed along to close on inner before 3 out in 7th, went 3rd at next, kept on strongly into 2nd close home, not reach winner (op 7/2)
Settled off leaders in 5th, closer on inner after 4 out, ridden to track leader in 2nd before 2 out, kept on well until no extra close home and dropped to 3rd (op 11/2 tchd 6/1)
