Very slowly away and detached towards rear early, took closer order after 2f, pushed along in 5th from halfway and headway into straight, ridden to lead under 2f out and went clear inside final furlong, eased close home (op 7/2)
Chased leaders, 4th at halfway, took closer order into straight and effort far side 2f out, soon no impression on leaders under hands and heels in 3rd, kept on one pace
Held up in touch, pushed along in moderate 6th from halfway and no impression on leaders into straight, ridden and kept on between horses into moderate 4th inside final furlong, never troubled leaders (jockey said gelding was outpaced early, stayed on past beaten horses late on and would benefit from a step up in trip)
Held up, pushed along in moderate 7th into straight and no impression, kept on one pace final 2f (jockey said, regarding running and riding, that his orders were to get the filly to jump well, get in to a nice rhythm and do his best from there, it was unable to go the quick early pace, ran green throughout, was disadvantaged by the bad kickback, lost ground at the end of the back straight avoiding a horse that pulled up suddenly, hung left thereafter but stayed on up the home straight past beaten horses, adding that it would benefit from a step up in trip, and may not have handled the surface and would recommend to the trainer not to run it again on the track. Trainer, three days later, reported that the filly was found to be stiff and sore behind.) (op 20/1 tchd 25/1)
