Sunday updates: British raider owned by Premier League footballers shortens for Group 1 National Stakes
Seagulls Eleven, who is owned by a host of Premier League footballers, continues to be well backed by punters in the Group 1 Vincent O'Brien National Stakes at the Curragh (4.10).
The two-year-old, who is trained by Hugo Palmer, wears the white and blue colours of Brighton and Hove Albion for the Two Plus Three Two Plus Four partnership, which is spearheaded by James Milner.
Milner, alongside Danny Welbeck and nine other teammates, have already enjoyed success with the son of Galileo Gold in a Haydock novice in July.
He followed that up when second to the unbeaten Ancient Truth in the Group 2 Superlative Stakes and is now 8-1 (from 12) with bet365 as he steps up to Group 1 company for the first time.
The unbeaten Henri Matisse heads the market for Aidan O'Brien, while the Charlie Appleby-trained Aomori City is also popular in the betting.
Bradsell drifts in Flying Five market
Bradsell has disappointed on his two visits across the Irish sea and punters seem to be expecting more of the same as the Nunthorpe hero has drifted to 11-4 (from 2-1) and is no longer favourite for the Group 1 Flying Five (3.35) with some firms.
The Archie Watson-trained four-year-old has returned from a 329-day break in fine form, following up victory in a Listed race in France with a defeat of the reopposing Believing in the Group 1 sprint at York last month.
However, two previous visits to the Curragh have yielded comprehensive defeats. He was beaten eight and a half lengths when the 11-8 favourite for Phoenix Stakes in 2022 and finished six lengths behind Moss Tucker in this race last year.
Most firms have Bradsell and Believing as joint-favourites, but the latter has shortened to 9-4 with William Hill and heads the market with that bookie and bet365.
Unlike Bradsell, the George Boughey-trained four-year-old is one from one at the Curragh, having struck in the Group 2 Sapphire Stakes at that track in July.
She raced on the other side of the track to Bradsell when finishing strongly to be beaten just three-quarters of a length in the Nunthorpe and could reverse that form on a track she clearly likes.

Good ground across whole track as Doncaster
The final day of Doncaster's St Leger meeting will be run on good ground across both the straight and round course following another dry period overnight.
The going on the round course was described as good to soft, good in places this morning, but the description was soon changed to match that of the straight course.
It is expected to be another predominately dry day, although clerk of the course David Attwood is anticipating a small shower at some point during racing.
He said: "We've actually dried back a touch and we're good ground across the whole track. We were good yesterday on the straight, which has dried a little bit, but we're still good. There has been a good progression of the ground drying all week.
"We're mainly overcast today, although there has been a change in some of the forecasts. Some are showing we might get some this afternoon, so there is a small chance. It's not as bright as maybe the last few days."

The Curragh 'in a good place' ahead of day two of Irish Champions Festival
Curragh clerk of the course Brendan Sheridan is happy with how conditions are ahead of day two of the Irish Champions Festival.
The eight-race card, which features four Group 1s including the Irish St Leger, begins at 1.50 and conditions are expected to remain dry throughout racing.
Sheridan said: "The ground remains good on the straight course and good, good to firm in places on the round course. We had a bright and breezy day here yesterday and 1.5mm of rain overnight. The light rain will clear between 10-11am and it'll be a lovely afternoon with temperatures of 17-18C.
"We're looking forward to a good day of racing, we're in a good place and we're all good to go."
