Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings

Tuesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team . . .

Chepstow

2.00: Redredrobin

A case can be made for all seven runners but REDREDROBIN has a good record at this track and can land her fourth course win. Little Boy Blue holds his form remarkably well and is second choice. Of the others, Secret Bid is still lightly raced and may have more to give, Island Native would be dangerous if allowed an uncontested lead and King Of War could bounce back at his favoured track.

Goodwood

4.40: East India Dock

James Fanshawe's young gun EAST INDIA DOCK hasn't achieved anything like so much as some of his rivals, but he looks the one to be with. He would surely have won here nine days ago with a clear run and he's essentially 5lb lower with Jack Doughty taking the reins. Master Milliner and Aggagio are always to be reckoned with here and are feared in that order.

Gowran Park

2.10: Dante's Lad

A very interesting maiden. The form of Monumental's second at the Curragh has been franked and he has a big chance if the blinkers work again upped in trip. Manhattan Chute also steps up in trip after a massive run in the Ballyhane Stakes but quick ground is an unknown for him. DANTE'S LAD finished just behind a subsequent maiden winner over this trip on debut and he is preferred with stamina assured. Zambales could also hit the frame if ridden a bit more patiently with the blinkers worn last time discarded.

Newcastle

8.45: Flash The Dash

The two with the most pressing claims look to be Sergeant Mayer and FLASH THE DASH. The former was chopped off against the rail when making his move at Beverley last time and remains in form but Flash The Dash, a course-and-distance winner over the winter, shaped well on his return to action at Doncaster and that form could hardly have worked out better.

Southwell

5.25: King's Coronation

Olympic Candle, who appears to be running himself back into form, makes the shortlist while Get The Music On would be a player if transferring his Polytrack form on to Tapeta, but the vote goes to the unexposed maiden KING'S CORONATION, who has finished runner-up in his last three starts (including on Tapeta). The form of each of those efforts has since received a boost.
