Racing Writer of the Year
A racing fan since the age of seven, Chris Cook trained for something completely different but then gravitated towards the sport anyway, joining the staff of the Racing & Football Outlook in 2000. He spent 16 years at The Guardian, became lead tipster and won the National Press Challenge before joining the Racing Post as senior reporter in 2021. He writes our daily email newsletter, the Front Runner.
