Nap of the day: best horse racing tips from the day's five meetings

Sunday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Chelmsford

3.00: Sky Blue Thinking

The most obvious answer is Sky Blue Thinking (nap), who went clear inside the final furlong of his stable debut at Wolverhampton on Monday and is unpenalised here. Cmon Cmon will appreciate this dip back into Class 6 company and is second choice but cases can also be made for Brazen Bolt, Hunters Step and Power On.
Chris Wilson

Dundalk

1.30: Eloy D'amerval

He never built on his initial promise but that's not to say that Eloy D'amerval (NAP), can't win lots of races at his own level and this could be a good opportunity for him to get his career back on track. The first-time blinkers and booking of Colin Keane suggests he will be well-fancied to do so. Phoenix Open ran well at Gowran and is another who shouldn't have to wait too much longer to have a day in the 0-65 bracket.
Brian Sheerin

Southwell

2.45: Queen Of Kalahari

Thrave has been given a helping hand by the assessor and he could revive back on AW off his reduced mark. Excessable and Praxeology can have a case argued but none appeals more than Queen Of Kalahari (nap). Les Eyre's mare has a formidable record in sprints at this track and returns to the AW off her last winning mark.

Pontefract

5.25: Cottam Lane

The unexposed three-year-old Cottam Lane (nap), was a creditable fourth in a big-field handicap at York two starts ago and today's expected return to fast ground could facilitate a return to winning ways. Mutanaaseq was a close second at Doncaster last time and could be the chief danger, while Wether Fell and Lady Nectar also arrive on the back of good performances.
Ben Hutton

Tramore

4.00: Reine Fee

The chasing experience picked up by the consistent Reine Fee (nap), may help to give her a vital edge over Klassy Kay who has been a progressive hurdler since joining Willie Mullins. That's Lifebuoy was beaten by an improving mare at Roscommon and has the beating of Twilight Girl on that running.
