Leon Edwards vs Sean Brady prediction

Leon Edwards headlines UFC London looking for redemption at the 02 Arena this evening, but the Brit might come up short once again against Sean Brady.

Former world champion Edwards has some big wins to his name, most notably when defeating Kamaru Usman in 2022, but lost his welterweight belt against Belal Muhammad in July.

The crowd favourite reckons he owes the fans supporters after such a subdued performance, although bookmakers are correct to rate him as the 7-5 outsider to defeat Brady, who is a late replacement for Jack Della Maddalena.

Brady also lost to Muhammad – his only defeat in UFC – and has the advantage over Edwards in both striking and grappling which means he is a deserved 8-13 favourite.

There can be no doubt Brady has elite grappling, averaging 3.49 takedowns every 15 minutes to Edwards' 1.25, and the American also averages 4.09 strikes per minute.

UFC Fight Night London main card prediction

Molly McCann, Chris Duncan and Nathaniel Wood are among the other Brits in action on the UFC Fight Night. 

Wood has a strong enough takedown defence to cause an upset at 11-8 against Morgan Charriere but McCann is likely to be outclassed by Alexia Thainara, who showed up well in her Contender Series fight and is a worthy 8-15 shot. 

Duncan's clash with Jordan Vucenic is fascinating. Vucenic is as short as 1-5 despite never having had an official UFC fight, while he also lost his only Contender Series matchup. This is either a no bet, or a fight to back Duncan to land a huge shock.
