Tuesday's ATP Finals predictions

The Ilie Nastase Group is once again in the spotlight at the ATP Finals on Tuesday as Taylor Fritz and Jannik Sinner look to build on their opening wins when they square up in Turin, while Daniil Medvedev clashes with Alex de Minaur.

Daniil Medvedev vs Alex de Minaur predictions

Daniil Medvedev failed to hide his frustration at his loss to Taylor Fritz in the ATP Finals, smashing his racquet against his seat after an error-strewn opening set.

Medvedev struck seven double faults in the first set and went on to lose the match 6-4 6-3 against the American.

That performance follows an underwhelming display at the Paris Masters and Medvedev could be vulnerable against Australian Alex de Minaur, who should not receive too much criticism for his opening defeat to the irrepressible Jannik Sinner.

De Minaur was a quarter-finalist in Paris earlier this month and has won three of his last five meetings with Medvedev, so he is worth backing to cover +1.5 games on the handicap.

Jannik Sinner vs Taylor Fritz predictions

Jannik Sinner is undoubtedly the player to beat in Turin but he made a sluggish start to his straight-sets win over De Minaur and was broken first after a backhand effort went out of bounds.

Sinner's next opponent, Taylor Fritz, will be even fiercer as the American breezed past fourth seed Medvedev last time out.

He also reached the last four of October's Shanghai Masters and he can make the match interesting, at least in the early exchanges, so back the first set to feature 11 games or more.
