Russia v Egypt

Krestovsky Stadium, Saint Petersburg BBC 7pm

Analysis
Mo Salah will start for Egypt against hosts Russia after a shoulder injury sustained in the Champions League final caused him to miss their opening defeat to Uruguay on Friday.

Russia were certainly not short of firepower in their 5-0 demolition of Saudi Arabia in the World Cup curtain-raiser but Fyodor Smolov failed to deliver in that game and is replaced by Artyom Dzyuba up front.

Alan Dzagoev has been ruled out for the remainder of the tournament for the hosts after injuring his hamstring in the opener and midfielder Denis Cheryshev, who netted twice on Thursday, takes his place.

Yuri Zhirkov has overcome a minor ankle problem to make the starting 11 for Russia.
