Wales vs Fiji predictions
A tricky fixture comes at a tricky time for Wales as they cope with a long injury list and attempt to play their way out of a losing rut.
Fiji are well known for being unpredictable and are extremely familiar opponents for Wales. The pair have been drawn in the same pool at the last five Rugby World Cups, and the first meeting ended in a shock victory for the Pacific islanders.
Since then Wales have won by 66 points on one occasion and by just six the last time they met in September last year, and bookmakers have settled on six points as a handicap in Cardiff on Sunday.
Fiji were beaten 57-17 by Scotland last week but had several of their frontline backs unavailable and those star names, including winger Semi Radrada and co-captain Waisea Nayacalevu.
Wales are still looking for their first win of 2024 but have experienced half-backs Tomos Williams and Gareth Anscombe, who are now playing in tandem at Gloucester, available and are looking to unleash a new star in winger Blair Murray.
But it might be a day for pragmatism and level heads as opening up the game too much might play into Fijian hands. The Welsh need for a win should keep them grounded and they can force their way over the line.

Scotland vs South Africa predictions
South Africa have won the last two Rugby World Cups, won a series against the British & Irish Lions in between, and dominated this summer's Rugby Championship, all with a simple and brutally effective gameplan.
The Springboks load up with forward power, play a pragmatic territorial game and squeeze their opponents into submission, and if there was any doubt that they might mix it up against Scotland at Murrayfield on Sunday, one look at their bench, made up of seven forwards and just one back, quickly dispels that.
Scotland are constantly improving and have half-backs Ben White and Finn Russell available this week after they missed out on last week's big win over Fiji.
But the Scots still look susceptible to set-piece power and that is exactly what they are going to face on Sunday.
South Africa have won their last eight meetings with the Scots, a run going back to 2010, and all but one of those Springbok victories have been by a double-figure margin, making a nine-point handicap for this match look insufficient.
The teams last met at last year's Rugby World Cup, where the Boks ran out 18-3 winners but that was the lowest points total South Africa have posted in that run of wins while Scotland have only once reached the 20-point mark.
Given their strength in defence, the power they pack and their dangerous backs, the Boks should post another comfortable win.
