Exeter should make it seven wins out of seven in the Premiership this season at Ashton Gate but hosts Bristol can make them work for another success.

Backing a Chiefs victory of between one and 12 points could pay.

Bristol have won two of three home league games on their return to the top flight, stunning Bath and Harlequins with their determination, and also picked up two bonus points from a 45-40 ding-dong battle with Northampton.

Bears head coach Pat Lam has named 14 of the starters from last Sunday's Premiership Cup success at Wasps including influential Kiwis Charles Piutau, John Afoa and Steven Luatua. Evergreen Wallabies legend George Smith is on the bench.

Wasps were all but out of the cup before the start but they named a side with the intention of hitting the ground running for the resumption of the Premiership.

Exeter don't seem to have a second team at the moment, so seamless is the step up from academy to the first-team squad. Autumn international absences and injuries should not be a problem in terms of their tactics and continuity.

However, they have not had it easy at Wasps, Newcastle and Bath on the road in the league despite picking up two four-try bonuses. Wasps were up at the break while the Falcons and Bath were within a score.

Recommendation
Exeter to win by one to 12 points
