Salford Red Devils vs Leigh Leopards Betfred Super League predictions

Salford Red Devils were beaten finalists in the 2019 Betfred Super League Grand Final and they can edge closer to an appearance in this year's decider with a narrow victory over Leigh Leopards.

A close contest is expected on Friday and the home side are evens to extend their season while fast-finishing Leigh are 4-5 shots to reach the semi-finals.

Wigan Warriors lie in wait for the winners of this contest, which should be as close as the betting suggests.

These two have met three times already this year, with the Leopards winning both fixtures on home soil after Salford had claimed the points on their own patch back in March.

Both sides do their best work at home and that is why Salford are fancied to prevail in front of a bumper home crowd, and this hasn't been a particularly happy venue for Leigh to visit.

They came away with a win on just one occasion from five attempts and the Red Devils should be raring to go after coach Paul Rowley rested most of his side for last week's final match of the regular season at Wigan.
