What’s your best bet for the weekend?
Stoke v West Ham draw. I like what David Moyes is doing at West Ham, making them hard to beat.

There will be no flamboyance from the Hammers at Stoke, who can’t keep a clean sheet and must get back to being well-organised.

They need something from each of their next three games and a point against improving West Ham might not be a bad outcome – 0-0 is a big runner.

Which favourites look most vulnerable?
I’ll take on Manchester United at West Brom. Last week’s defeat by City, given the energy expended before the game and the bitter tone of the aftermath, was a real body blow for United.

That they were tame against Bournemouth was no surprise. West Brom stopped Liverpool in their tracks last weekend and that has to fill them with self-belief.

How do you see Manchester City v Tottenham going?
It’s hard to see past Manchester City and they aren’t a bad price.

Watching them turn one of the toughest leagues in the world into a procession is extraordinary and if Chelsea and United couldn’t stop them, can Tottenham?

Spurs from last year, or even the start of this term, might have had a chance but I’m not sure their defence can withstand City.

How many trophies will City win this season?
One – the Premier League.

It’s not easy to win cups, especially the Champions League where you’ve got the cream of Europe lined up against you, and Pep’s teams have a habit of running out of steam.

All the top sides are still left in the League Cup, so that’s not going to be easy, and you need the luck of the draw in the FA Cup, which may not be a priority.

Who’s your fancy to win the Champions League?
I wouldn’t be surprised to see the winner coming from the Real Madrid-PSG tie.

They are my two fancies for this competition and while it’s a dog of a draw for PSG, if you’re going to back them now might be the time.

They are a team who don’t seem to have any weaknesses and it’s quite possible they could take Real apart in Paris.

Where’s the best chance of an upset in the League Cup quarter-finals?
I can see a couple of shocks. Leicester – who, let’s not forget, were champions just 18 months ago – have got a buzz about them again under Claude Puel and they pose a genuine threat to Manchester City.

And I wouldn’t rule out Bournemouth getting a result at Chelsea, whose form is patchy at best.
