Matches & groups
Julian Suri became a European Tour champion in style on Sunday, seeing off David Horsey in a Denmark duel, and the American slugger could be set for another profitable week in the Czech Masters.

Suri has fond memories of the Czech Republic. It was there he claimed his maiden Challenge Tour title in May, a two-shot victory in the Czech Challenge, and he could easily fall in love with the Czech Masters venue too. The Albatross Resort provides every encouragement to attacking big-hitters like him.

Suri to outscore compatriot David Lipsky looks a fair match-bet price at 4-5. Victory for Suri had been coming – he has impressed all year – while Lipsky has been struggling over the last two months. His share of 23rd place in Denmark snapped a streak of five consecutive missed cuts.

Paul Waring, who finished 19th in his only previous visit to this event, has played well enough this season to suggest he could win a weak Great Britain and Ireland section.
