Tennessee Titans at Miami Dolphins predictions

There's another Monday night doubleheader in Week Four and both road teams should be able to at least stay competitive.

First, the Dolphins host the Titans in the AFC, with both teams having struggled so far. The Titans are still looking for their first win of the season while the Dolphins are still trying to find a way forward after the loss of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to concussion in Week Two.

Skylar Thompson started at QB in last week's loss to the Seahawks but injured his ribs, so Miami will now turn to recent arrival Tyler Huntley, who played for the Browns in pre-season games this year.

The former Ravens back-up is relatively mobile but he is not a top-level performer and can’t be relied on to make the most of the Dolphins' talented wide receivers, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, having been with the team for such a short time.

The Titans could have made a 2-0 start, but blew a 17-point lead against the Bears to lose 24-17 and went down by the same score after a close contest with the Jets the following week.

They have a decent defence and are a better team than an 0-3 record suggests. Quarterback Will Levis has thrown some poor interceptions, but he could have some success against a struggling defence and the Titans should be able to run the ball.

The Dolphins allowed 5.1 yards per carry to Seattle's Zach Charbonnet and 7.1 to Buffalo's James Cook the week before. Tennessee should be capable of getting their first win but the handicap points are worth taking.

Seattle Seahawks at Detroit Lions predictions

The Seahawks take their unbeaten record to Detroit for an exciting NFC clash to wrap up Week Four.

Similar to Dan Campbell’s arrival with the Lions, Seattle have been invigorated by the arrival of new head coach Mike Macdonald, who was previously the Ravens' defensive coordinator. They have had a soft start to the season against the Broncos, Patriots and injury-hit Dolphins, but they have been impressive on both offence and defence.

Ford Field is a difficult venue for visiting teams, but the Seahawks were one of just two road teams to be successful there last season, winning 37-31 in overtime in Week Two.

Their wide receivers DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba should be able to attack the suspect Lions secondary, while their defence has made an excellent start, although they need to overcome injuries to their defensive line this week.

The Lions remain a strong team but they have not quite hit top form so far this season, turning the ball over too often and losing their last home game against the Buccaneers.

Macdonald masterminded a strong defensive performance from the Ravens when they beat the Lions 38-6 last season and he could have a few tricks up his sleeve to stop them again.
