Los Angeles Chargers at Arizona Cardinals predictions

The Los Angeles Chargers will look to pick up their fourth win of the 2024 NFL season when they travel to the State Farm Stadium to face the Arizona Cardinals.

Jim Harbaugh’s team are still playing second fiddle to the Kansas City Chiefs who are 5-0 through the first six weeks, but he has made noticeable changes to his team which have helped them improve in the opening weeks.

The Bolts have allowed the fewest points and fewest touchdowns per game this season, and they have managed to suffocate their opponents in most of their games so far.

While defensively, the Chargers have looked solid, offensively, they have still had to deal with teething issues. Harbaugh’s team have had a lack of options at wide receiver, and they have averaged just 18.2 points per game so far.

The Chargers should feel that they can give Arizona something to worry about, with the Cardinals still struggling defensively. Arizona are allowing 153 rushing yards per game, but they do have quarterback Kyler Murray in their ranks.

Murray should be the second-best quarterback the Chargers have faced this season after Patrick Mahomes, and his ability on the ground should cause them a few issues.

The former Oklahoma ace has only thrown two interceptions in six games and he has picked up 261 yards on the ground. Only Lamar Jackson and Jayden Daniels have picked up more rushing yards, and the Cardinals are desperate to return to winning ways after starting the season 2-4.

Arizona have already beaten the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers this season, so they look a good price on the handicap, especially in front of their own fans.
