The Eagles meet the Colts in Indianapolis and Philly should be able to bounce back from their first defeat of the season last week.

The Colts have greatly underperformed this season and even with a victory over the hapless Raiders last week, Indianapolis are likely to find things tough against Jalen Hurts and co.

Jeff Saturday is the interim head coach for the Colts, a man who has very little coaching experience at either college or NFL level, and he is likely to be outskilled by current coach of the year candidate Nick Sirianni.

Teams who fire their coach either win or cover the spread in the following game around 60 per cent of the time. The bounce-back typically lasts a week but then as the hype wanes, so do the performances.

While both Jonathan Taylor and Matt Ryan looked great against the Raiders, it’s hard to see them replicating that effort against this rigid Eagles defence.

As for Philadelphia, they should be highly motivated to bounce back from last Monday’s loss to Washington and prove that they are still Super Bowl contenders. They still boast an exceptional offence with dual-threat quarterback Jalen Hurts and top wide receivers AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith.

Expect the Eagles to be fired up for this one and take their frustration out on this ailing Colts team. Take Philly to win by at least a touchdown.
