NFL Thanksgiving predictions
Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions predictions
The NFL Thanksgiving treble-header starts with an NFC North clash between the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions and it could pay to back the home team to secure a dominant win.
The Lions crushed the Colts on Sunday to move to 10-1, and while their offence has rightly received tons of praise, it’s been their defence that has stepped up in recent weeks, holding four of their last five opponents to 14 points or fewer.
They should have no problem keeping tabs on a Bears offence which is yet to score more than 16 points on the road this season.
Chicago looked to have turned a corner against the Vikings on Sunday, only to lose 30-27 in overtime, and fatigue is likely to be a factor as they enter this contest on a short week.
Expect the Lions, who have won by at least ten points in six of their last eight games, to carve their visitors open.

Detroit Lions -10

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys predictions
The New York Giants take on the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in a game which some US-based observers have designated as 'nap time' due to the dire outlook for both teams for the rest of the season.
However, Dallas pulled off a shock win over Washington last week as double-digit underdogs. Back-up quarterback Cooper Rush delivered another serviceable performance and he can lead his team to a convincing Thanksgiving win.
Rush, who threw for 247 yards and two touchdowns against a solid Commanders defence, should once again find success against the Giants, who allow the fifth-most passing yards per attempt in the NFL this season.
Dallas might not light up the scoreboard but they should still comfortably outscore Big Blue, who showed no improvement on offence whatsoever with Tommy DeVito at quarterback in Sunday's 30-7 home loss to the Bucs.

Dallas Cowboys -3.5

Miami Dolphins at Green Bay Packers predictions
Two teams who are feeling better than they have all season clash in the late match in what should be a classic inter-conference battle.
The Miami Dolphins are on a three-game winning run and have reinvigorated their chances of sealing a playoff place, averaging more than 30 points per game in the five games since Tua Tagovailoa returned from injury.
Hosts Green Bay, meanwhile, are no slouches either, and Sunday's straightforward 38-10 win over the 49ers made it six from seven for the men from Lambeau Field.
While it has been suggested that Tagovailoa does not play well in cold weather, the Dolphins believe in themselves right now and the Packers' sub-par passing defence should afford them plenty of chances to score.
Best bet for Miami Dolphins at Green Bay Packers
Miami Dolphins +3.5
