We’ve got a game with huge playoff implications kicking things off for us on Sunday as the Miami Dolphins battle the New England Patriots in an exciting AFC East rumble.

If either of these teams win their remaining games then they will reach the post-season, but for Miami the task is a little harder as they will be without first-choice quarterback Tua Tagovailoa for this clash against New England. Even with that hurdle to overcome, the Dolphins should be able to keep this one close.

Teddy Bridgewater will start as QB for Miami. He proved earlier this season that he can be an asset in that position and should still be able to get the best out of receiving duo Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

As for the Patriots, their offence might be worse than the Dolphins even with starting QB Mac Jones keeping his place in the centre.

Jones has been on a serious decline in recent weeks and his awful tackle attempt on Chandler Jones in New England’s loss to the LA Raiders didn’t do him any favours.

Jones clearly isn’t on the same page as Patriots offensive coordinator Matt Patricia, and that has led to this team taking a nosedive in terms of offensive production. The run game has become the focus for the Patriots, and Miami should be able to neutralise that area.

All things considered, the Dolphins still have enough offensive threats to put points on the board, but the same cannot be said for the Patriots. Go with Miami to at least keep this one within a field goal.
