Jacksonville Jaguars at Buffalo Bills predictions

The Buffalo Bills are looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the season when they host the Jaguars in the first of two NFL games on Monday night.

Sean McDermott's team have adapted well enough to losing their star wide receiver Stefon Diggs in the summer, beating Arizona and Miami in their first two games. New offensive coordinator Joe Brady has made a strong start but this test might not be as comfortable for the Bills as the handicap suggests and the Jaguars are capable of covering.

The Bills' 31-10 win over the Dolphins was not as one-sided as the final score indicates and they are facing a desperate Jaguars team who will be determined not to start 0-3 after opening with disappointing losses to Miami and Cleveland.

Jacksonville have plenty of talent and their defence hasn’t been the problem as they have conceded just 38 points in their first two games. If the Jags can get a stronger performance from QB Trevor Lawrence they can challenge a Bills defence that has had to deal with a number of early injuries.

The Jaguars beat the Bills 25-20 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last year and are worthy of handicap support in what could be a tight and lower-scoring game.

Washington Commanders at Cincinnati Bengals predictions

The Cincinnati Bengals are looking to get their season going after a 0-2 start and have a great chance of chalking up their first win against the Washington Commanders. However, the visitors are capable of playing their part and taking overs on the total points market may prove to be the best bet on Monday night's second game.

Cincinnati went close to beating Super Bowl champions Kansas City last week in a vastly improved performance from their Week One upset by New England. The big news for Bengals fans was that quarterback Joe Burrow looked more like himself again after missing the end of last season with a wrist injury.

The Commanders also have a former LSU quarterback in rookie Jayden Daniels, who had 226 passing yards in their win over the Giants last week and he has also had 132 rushing yards in his first two NFL games.

The Bengals have had early problems defending the run, ranking 26th in the league, but the Commanders' defence is even worse after losing some key players.

They have conceded seven touchdowns in their first two games and offences should be on top in this game.
