Baltimore Ravens at Los Angeles Chargers predictions

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh came out on top when he faced his brother Jim's San Francisco 49ers in the 2013 Super Bowl and he can win again when he takes on his younger sibling's new team, the Los Angeles Chargers, on Monday night.

The brothers had also met in a regular season game in 2011, when John's Ravens prevailed 16-6, so he is looking to keep up a 100 per cent record in the latest edition of the Harbaugh Bowl.

The Ravens are 7-4 this season but have been beaten by two of their AFC North rivals in their last four games with a surprise 29-24 loss to the Browns before last week's costly 18-16 defeat to the Steelers.

The Chargers are going well at 7-3 and are coming off an excellent 34-27 win over the Bengals, which was their fourth victory in a row. Jim Harbaugh has done a great job with the team after returning to the NFL this year after success in the college game with Michigan.

They have one of the league's best defences and quarterback Justin Herbert is playing at a high level now he is over his injury issues.

The problem for the Chargers in this game, though, is that their run defence has been a weakness. They are conceding 4.7 yards per rush, which ranks only 23rd in the league, and the Steelers, Chiefs, Cardinals and Titans have all posted more than 100 rushing yards against them, with Arizona making 181.

The Ravens' rushing offence, led by Derrick Henry, leads the league with 5.8 yards per rush and ranks second with 177.3 yards per game. Linebacker Denzel Perryman will miss this game for the Chargers while wide receiver Ladd McConkey is a doubt with a shoulder issue.

Baltimore have a point to prove after last week's loss and are worth backing giving up less than a field goal on the handicap.
