Three things to watch out for in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games on Monday.

Best bet

Denmark to win men's team pursuit Monday 9.02am
1pt 8-13 Paddy Power

Denmark took bronze in Rio but are now the best quartet around and twice broke the world record when becoming world champions last year when they beat New Zealand by over five seconds in the final. The 4-9 being offered elsewhere looks much nearer the mark than the 8-13 available.

Men's 200m

Tuesday, 3.05am

USA will be hoping for a 1-2-3 in the men's 200m with Noah Lyles (8-13), Kenneth Bednarek (6-1) and Erriyon Knighton (7-1) all prominent in the market for the half-lap showdown.

Lyles is unbeaten in 2021 and last lost a final in June 2019. Hr is the quickest man around at 19.74 and clearly the one to beat.

Bednarek ran a personal best of 19.78 in the US trials, just behind Lyles and has been pushing the favourite close in their races this year, with teenage sensation Knighton breaking Usain Bolt's U20 world twice during those trials to take third.

The 17-year-old is the youngest male to make the US track and field Olympic team since 1964 and Knighton's rise is remarkable given he took up the sport only three years ago.

Women's lightweight boxing

Tuesday, 4.35am

Irish flag-bearer Kellie Harrington is in action at the quarter-final stage and should have few problems easing past Imane Khelif.

Harrington dominated Rebecca Nicoli in her opening bout and is the number one seed in the division despite being rated at 11-4 for gold behind Brazil's Beatriz Soares Ferreira, who is an 11-10 shot.

Women's hockey quarter-finals

Starts Monday 1pm

Reigning champions Great Britain face Spain in the quarter-finals in a balanced tie. Team GB have done a lot of things well in Tokyo but will need to start converting more of their penalty-corner opportunities which was a problem in the group stages.

Spain lost their two most difficult matches in the pool phase, going down 3-0 to Argentina and 3-1 to Australia, while the fact Great Britain lost only 1-0 to tournament favourites Netherlands suggests a repeat of that performance could be enough to book a semi-final spot.
