UFC Fight Night preview

Former UFC light-heavyweight title challenger Anthony Smith is coming off a big loss against Glover Teixeira in May in which he took a lot of damage and he may not have had enough time to mentally recover before he faces a tough battle with Aleksandar Rakic at the UFC Apex.

Rakic also lost his last fight against Volkan Oezdemir, but it was a close split-decision defeat that many thought he should have won and he can bounce back with a victory in this three-round main event.

That was Rakic's first loss in the UFC and it snapped a 12-fight winning streak, but it was a decent performance against one of the division's strongest fighters and he can still take plenty of positives from it.

Smith has far more experience including some big wins, but he struggles for consistency. Back Rakic to win on the scorecards.

In a mouthwatering co-main event, former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler takes on Neil Magny.

Lawler is a future Hall Of Famer, but his best years are well behind him. He has lost four of his last five fights in the UFC and may struggle to contain Magny, who has won four of his last five.

Take the Haitian Sensation to beat Lawler by decision.

Alexa Grasso is favourite to beat Ji Yeon Kim, but Grasso is stepping up from strawweight to flyweight and has plenty to prove.

Kim is a highly-decorated fighter and has the ability to cause an upset.
