UFC 277 preview

Julianna Pena makes the first defence of her women's bantamweight title in a rematch with former champion Amanda Nunes at UFC 277.

Pena shocked the MMA world when ending Nunes' 12-fight win streak at UFC 269, claiming a second-round victory via submission.

Repeating that feat against Nunes, regarded as one of the greatest female mixed martial artists of all-time, looks extremely difficult with the Brazilian likely to be better conditioned for their rematch.

Nunes, who holds the featherweight belt, fought twice at 145lbs before dropping down to defend against Pena and she struggled with the cut. The Lioness should be in better shape this time around as she looks to extend her record for the most knockout wins in the history of the division.

Earlier on the card, Derrick Lewis, who holds the record for the most knockout wins in the heavyweight division, looks a strong candidate to add another KO to his tally at the expense of Sergei Pavlovich.

Lewis is looking to bounce back from defeat against Tai Tuivasa and his heavy hands should lead him to victory in his home state of Texas.
