Preview
UFC 276 arguably boasts the strongest card of 2022 with two title fights set to end the night at the T-Mobile Arena.
Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya tops the bill against number two Jared Cannonier, while Alexander Volkanovski puts his featherweight belt on the line against number one Max Holloway in the co-main.
Adesanya has been untouchable in the middleweight division - his only career loss came when he stepped up to fight Jan Blachowicz for the light-heavyweight belt - and despite Cannonier's late career surge, the Nigerian should retain the gold.
It's all or nothing for Cannonier in his first and probably last shot at a title but he doesn't appear to be at Adesanya's level, something evident from his loss to Robert Whittaker at UFC 254.
Adesanya took the title from Whittaker at UFC 243 and beat the Australian for a second time when last seen in February.
He's picked up 15 wins by knockout or technical knockout in 23 fights and should further seal his legacy with another in Las Vegas.
The co-main is extremely tough to call as Volkanovski and Holloway meet for a third time, having twice gone the distance.
Volkanovski won both of those contests via decision, although many argue Holloway was unlucky not to get the nod in their second bout, and the feeling is we could be set for another full 25 minutes of high-level action.
Holloway has won two Fight of the Night bonuses since his back-to-back losses against Volkanovski and the value lies with him earning a decision victory.
Finally, the exciting Sean O'Malley is back in action as he looks to edge further up the rankings in the bantamweight division at the expense of Pedro Munhoz.
Munhoz has lost two in a row and has picked up just one win in his last five trips to the octagon, while O'Malley has won his last three and boasts 11 KO/TKO victories from 16 contests.
