Boston's clear-cut victory over St Louis in Game Three of the Stanley Cup finals has led some bookmakers to make their second trip to Missouri a pick 'em affair.

The teams split the first two games in Boston, with the Bruins winning the opener 4-2 and the Blues hitting back to level the series with a 3-2 overtime success in Game Two.

The latest match, however, looks to have been a turning point. The home side came out of the traps fast but Boston withstood the early pressure and went on to dominate, winning all three periods for a 7-2 success.

It got so bad for St Louis that highly-rated goaltender Jordan Binnington was hauled off for the first time in his career after saving just 73.7 per cent of the Bruins' shots at him, his worst figure of the season.

The Blues have rallied round Binnington and he is set to start again in Game Four, but his confidence must have taken a hit.

With the wind taken out of the home fans' sails, Boston have an ideal chance to grab a third win and set themselves up to clinch the famous trophy on home ice.
