St Louis have wrestled home-ice advantage away from Boston after squaring up the Stanley Cup Finals at 1-1 in The Garden on Wednesday night, but the Bruins still look the bet for Game Three.

The Blues levelled the best-of-seven showdown courtesy of Carl Gunnarsson’s overtime goal and have to feel confident heading for the Enterprise Center.

They’ve done a good job containing Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron and David Pastrnak but they give away too many penalties and that could be their undoing.

Boston have had more powerplay opportunities in each of the two clashes and have scored once in each game when St Louis have been short-handed.

One of those penalties on Wednesday – Oskar Sundqvist’s boarding of Matt Grzelcyk – means the Swede is suspended for Game Three.

The series is on a knife-edge and Boston won’t be fazed by giving up the ice. They boast a 6-2 away record in the playoffs while St Louis are 5-5 at home.
