Kerry vs Dublin predictions
RTE, 7.30pm Saturday
There is no debate about what is the biggest show in town this weekend – it is the clash of arch rivals Kerry and Dublin at Tralee, a repeat of the 2023 All-Ireland final which the Dubs won by two points.
A lot has changed since then, most notably a whole host of big-name retirements in the Dublin camp, and this could be the night when the Dubs really start to feel the effect of losing Brian Fenton and James McCarthy.
This is a chance for Kerry to show no mercy and the Kingdom are the one of the shortest prices they have been in decades for a clash with the Dubs. Kerry deserve to be as short as they are, too.
Dublin were lucky to sneak a narrow win over Mayo at Croke Park in round one and they were thoroughly outplayed by Donegal in round two.
In contrast, Kerry were ruthless in the closing stages of their opening-round win over Derry, netting three late goals in quick succession to complete a remarkable turnaround. They scored 5-15 in that match and even managed to find the net in defeat to an extremely well-drilled Donegal defence last week.
They may have been beaten but there were plenty of positives to take from the tie. It was really encouraging.
Kerry have added Dylan Geaney to their attack and he looked lively with three points in the loss to Donegal. Sean O'Shea and Paudie Clifford are back nearing top gear and it is hard to envisage anything but a home win.
Indeed, it could be even more one-sided than the betting suggests and the Kingdom are fancied to score at least two goals on their way to victory.
Mayo vs Tyrone predictions
TG4, 1.45pm Sunday
With no points on the board after two games, it's fair to say it has been a disappointing start to the league for Mayo, who are seemingly already fighting for survival. But surely there will be some sort of bounceback from their lethargic loss to Galway in round two.
It is worth pointing out that when Mayo and Tyrone last met in the league at Castlebar, Mayo steamrolled the visitors on a scoreline of 4-10 to 0-12 and the home crowd are surely to be vocal now that relegation to Division Two has become a distinct possibility.
This is a massive game for Mayo, who welcome back some key members of their squad, and the fortnight break since the defeat to Galway is exactly what the doctor ordered.
They could put in a resurgent performance on Sunday and look value at odds-against on home soil.
Roscommon vs Monaghan predictions
TG4, 2pm Sunday
Roscommon are favourites to win Division Two and rightly so after a pair of impressive victories in the opening two rounds.
On paper at least, a visit from Monaghan represents their toughest test yet, but the visitors' total points line has been set at 20.5 and that looks on the high side given the hosts are likely to dominate possession.
Roscommon are playing with a real swagger right now and dropping down to Division Two might well have been a blessing in disguise.
The new rules suit their style of play and they should be able to defy a two-point handicap against Monaghan, who could start to struggle as the campaign continues.
