Preview

Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall described his side's 5-1 dismantling of reigning champions Lyon in the Women's Champions League on Wednesday as the "best performance" he has seen from his side.

The Gunners looked unstoppable in France, where Caitlin Foord and Beth Mead bagged braces, but it might be wise to expect a less explosive affair when they travel to Liverpool in the Women's Super League on Sunday.

Arsenal knew they had to raise their game against Lyon and there was a relentlessness about their play, but before that they recorded marginal 1-0 wins over Ajax and Reading.

Arsenal's defence has been their main strength in the WSL this season, with three successive clean sheets, and they may be content to settle for a gritty, low-scoring win away to Liverpool.

The Merseysiders have struggled for goals in the WSL this season but are determined to make Prenton Park a tough place to visit, having beaten Chelsea there on the opening day of the season.

An Arsenal win and under 3.5 goals could be the way to go.

On Saturday, Man City will be looking to build on their 4-0 drubbing of Leicester last time out when they take on Tottenham.

Jamaican ace Khadija Shaw scored twice in that win and represents value at 8-11 to score against Spurs.
