Team news
Scotland
Nathan Patterson is suspended and Scott McTominay is still struggling with illness, but Lyndon Dykes is available after being banned for Friday's win in Moldova.
Denmark
The Danes have no fresh concerns, although Tottenham's Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is injured. Martin Delaney and Jannik Vestergaard could return to the starting line-up.
Match preview
Scotland have known they were fighting it out for second place in Group F for quite some time, but that should not detract from the scale of their achievement in booking a playoff spot before their final game against runaway leaders Denmark.
Steve Clarke's side have put together an excellent winning run and a place in their first World Cup since 1998 looks a decent shout, so Monday's clash in front of a sold-out Hampden should give them a good indication of how far they have come.
Kasper Hjulmand's team have been imperious in nine group fixtures and conceded their first goal of qualifying in Friday's 3-1 win over the Faroe Islands. Hjulmand's well-organised outfit, who took England all the way to extra-time in their Euro 2020 semi-final, will fear no one in Qatar next year.
They beat Scotland 2-0 with two early goals from Daniel Wass and Joakim Maehle in September, but the Scots could be hungrier as their job has yet to be completed.
QPR striker Lyndon Dykes will be keen to show he is the main man in attack after missing Friday's win in Moldova and the ability from wide areas, particularly in the shape of Kieran Tierney and Andy Robertson, should mean they create opportunities.
Spurred on by a vociferous crowd, Scotland should be positive and the Danes could react to that too.
They have plenty of ability in the final third so quotes of evens about both teams scoring could prove to be generous.
Key stat
Scotland have won their last five qualification matches.
