Women's Super League predictions

Marc Skinner will take charge of Manchester United Women for the 100th time on Sunday and he could mark the occasion with victory over Arsenal at Leigh Sports Village.

United were in terrific shape prior to the international break, taking ten points from their opening four WSL matches and conceding just once in the process.

That leaves only perennial title contenders Manchester City and Chelsea above them in the standings and a win over the Gunners would send out a real statement of their title intent.

Arsenal, meanwhile, have taken eight points from five games in what has been been a turbulent start to the season for the north London club, who saw Jonas Eidevall step down as manager a fortnight ago after more than three years at the helm.

The Gunners are not rushing the appointment of Eidevall's replacement and have installed Renee Slegers as interim boss, but they have to be vulnerable at present.

Chelsea have made a bright start to life under new boss Sonia Bompastor and can record a high-scoring win against struggling Everton on Sunday evening.

The Blues have scored 15 goals in just four league matches this season and should prove too sharp for the Toffees.
