Wednesday's Women's Champions League predictions

Qualifying for the Women's Champions League begins this week and the all-British affair between Arsenal and Rangers at Meadow Park in Borehamwood is undoubtedly the standout fixture.

The Gunners did not feature in Europe's premier club competition in 2023-24 but last season's third-placed finish in the Women's Super League means they could return to the top table this term.

They must play through two rounds to get there, though, and they begin their campaign against Rangers, who have started the Scottish Women's Premier League season with five wins from five matches.

Arsenal represent a serious step-up in quality for the Scottish side and the Gunners finished last season on a seven-game unbeaten run.

They kept clean sheets against Chelsea, Bristol City, Leicester and Brighton in the process and they should make light work of Rangers, so splitting stakes between a 3-0 and 4-0 win on the 7.30pm kick-off could pay.

Celtic are also in action on Wednesday as they take on KuPS in Finland at 10am.
