Wednesday's Women's Champions League predictions
Arsenal must overturn a two-goal deficit against Real Madrid if they are to reach an eighth Women's Champions League semi-final and the Gunners should make the most of home advantage in Wednesday's second leg at the Emirates Stadium.
The first leg of this quarter-final tie finished 2-0 to Real Madrid last Tuesday with youngster Linda Caicedo and Athenea del Castillo on the scoresheet.
Arsenal were silenced at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano, where they forced just one shot on target, and they have plenty of work to do in the return fixture.
On home soil, though, Arsenal have won 11 of their last 13 matches in all competitions and they have won all six of their home games in the Women's Champions League, beating Juventus and Bayern Munich as part of that run.
Real Madrid will be high on confidence going into this match, having recorded their first Women's Clasico victory against Barcelona on Sunday, although Barca had a goal wrongfully chalked off for offside in that game before Real grabbed their winner.
Las Blancas have a tendency to fold in big European contests, losing 2-1 to Chelsea in December, and this is only their second time in a Women's Champions League quarter-final.
They are not likely to go down without a fight but Arsenal's front-foot approach could be too much at the Emirates, where a home win and over 2.5 goals could be a value selection.
Lyon, meanwhile, have a 2-0 lead from the away leg of their quarter-final tie with Bayern Munich, who are as big as 50-1 to qualify when the sides clash at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais on Wednesday.
