Real Madrid Women vs Chelsea Women predictions

Chelsea's 1-1 Women's Super League draw against Leicester on Saturday was the first of their 15 games under Sonia Bompastor that they haven't won – and they may not have things all their own way at Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday, either.

Both teams are assured of a place in the quarter-finals and the Blues are top of Group C having beaten Las Blancas 3-2 at Stamford Bridge in their opening game in October.

This is the third straight season they have met in this competition. Both previous meetings in the Spanish capital ended all-square and there has been enough from Real to suggest they can put up another stern challenge.

Barcelona are the only team to have beaten them this season and they bounced back from their defeat in London to score 17 goals in four games against Dutch side Twente and Celtic.

Danish striker Signe Bruun has scored five goals in her last four Champions League appearances and Real could earn a draw against the Blues, who will still finish top of the group with a point.
