Best Premier League bet

Nottingham Forest vs Ipswich
3pm Saturday

Ipswich shocked Tottenham in their last Premier League away match, landing odds of 10-1 in a 2-1 victory in north London just before the international break.

Kieran McKenna's men resumed their campaign with a 1-1 draw at home to Manchester United last weekend, holding their nerve despite conceding in the second minute of Ruben Amorim's Red Devils debut.

The Tractor Boys look a juicy draw-no-bet selection at Nottingham Forest, who racked up a hat-trick of wins against Crystal Palace, Leicester and ten-man West Ham but have struggled against tougher opponents recently.

Forest lost 3-1 to Newcastle in their last home game and were outclassed in a 3-0 defeat at Arsenal last time out.

Promoted Ipswich's win at Spurs was their first victory of the season but they had conceded crucial late goals in a 4-3 loss at Brentford and a 1-1 draw with Leicester and pose a consistent goal threat through Liam Delap and Sammie Szmodics.

Best EFL bet

Watford vs QPR
Sky Sports Football & Sky Sports Main Event, 12.30pm Saturday

Watford conceded an injury-time equaliser to draw 2-2 at Plymouth last week but bounced back to see off a solid Bristol City side 1-0 at Vicarage Road on Tuesday.

That was the Hornets' seventh win from eight home fixtures in this season's Championship and they can bank another three points on their own patch against QPR.

Tom Cleverley is getting a nice tune out of his Watford side, who started November with a 6-2 away win against Sheffield Wednesday.

QPR were winless in 12 matches going into Wednesday's 2-0 victory at Cardiff, where Hoops goalkeeper Paul Nardi made eight saves, and that long trip is not the ideal preparation for a fixture at fortress Vicarage Road.

Best FA Cup bet

Exeter vs Chesterfield
3pm Saturday

Exeter beat Barnet 5-3 in the first round of the FA Cup but Saturday's second-round tie against Chesterfield should be a tighter affair and backing one or both teams not to score appeals.

Since their cup win, the League One Grecians have beaten Charlton 1-0, drawn 0-0 with Lincoln and lost to nil against promotion hopefuls Wrexham and Birmingham.

Chesterfield, ante-post favourites in League Two, have lost two of their last three league games and needed an 89th-minute Jamie Grimes goal to edge past Barrow 1-0 last weekend.

Best European bet

RB Leipzig vs Wolfsburg
2.30pm Saturday

RB Leipzig were beaten 1-0 by Inter at San Siro on Tuesday, extending their losing run in the Champions League to five matches.

That poor form, which includes a shock 3-1 defeat at Celtic, is bound to be playing on Leipzig's minds and they look vulnerable favourites at home to Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.

Their last league outing produced a 4-3 loss at Hoffenheim and Wolfsburg have lost only once in eight games in all competitions, including a 1-0 extra-time victory over Borussia Dortmund in the German Cup.
