Best Premier League bet

Bournemouth vs Chelsea
Sky Sports Premier League & Main Event, 8pm Saturday

Bournemouth produced an amazing comeback to win 3-2 at Everton in their last Premier League fixture, having been trailing 2-0 until the 87th minute.

The Cherries had come from 3-0 down at half-time to beat Luton 4-3 in a thrilling game at Dean Court in March and they may have to dig deep again in Saturday's clash with Chelsea.

The clubs met on the final day of last season, when Moises Caicedo's 17th-minute goal set up a 2-1 win for the Blues at Stamford Bridge.

Inconsistent Chelsea followed up a 6-2 league win at Wolves with a 2-1 defeat to Servette in the second leg of their Conference League playoff tie and a 1-1 draw at home to Crystal Palace.

They scored first in all three of those games, in the second, 14th and 25th minutes, and are worth backing to make a fast start against Bournemouth, who have conceded the opener in six of their last seven competitive fixtures.

Best EFL bet

Leeds vs Burnley
Sky Sports +, 12.30pm Saturday

Scott Parker's Burnley kicked off the Championship season with a 4-1 win at Luton and a 5-0 rout of Cardiff but the goals have since dried up for the Clarets.

They lost 1-0 at Sunderland and 2-0 at Wolves in the EFL Cup, mustering just seven shots over the two matches – only one of which was on target.

There was more frustration in a 1-1 draw at home to Blackburn, who were reduced to ten men in the 57th minute, and Parker's men may struggle to land a blow on title favourites Leeds at Elland Road.

Leeds started their campaign with a 3-3 draw against Portsmouth and a 3-0 EFL Cup home defeat to Middlesbrough, but they have kept three clean sheets in their last three league outings.

Goalkeeper Illan Meslier faced only five shots on target in the 0-0 draw at West Brom and 2-0 victories over Sheffield Wednesday and Hull so Leeds are worth backing to claim another win to nil against their injury-hit visitors.

Best European bet

Real Sociedad vs Real Madrid
Premier Sports 1 & LaLigaTV, 8pm Saturday

Real Madrid's attacking stars dominate the headlines but the Spanish champions conceded only 26 goals in 38 matches on their way to the title in La Liga last season.

They have let in just two goals in five competitive games this term, including wins to nil against Atalanta in the Uefa Super Cup and Real Valladolid and Real Betis in the league.

Backing Real to win a contest featuring under 3.5 goals looks a good bet when they travel to Real Sociedad this weekend.

Nine of the hosts' last 11 league games had under 2.5 goals including April's 1-0 home defeat to a second-string Real side who were restricted to five attempts at goal.
