Premier League 2019-20: top team goalscorer and Player of the Year betting
Tammy Abraham could seize his chance at Chelsea
Top team goalscorers
It has been suggested that Chelsea's number nine shirt is cursed with Gonzalo Higuain, Fernando Torres, Radamel Falcao, Franco Di Santo, Hernan Crespo, Mateja Kezman and Alvaro Morata among the forwards to struggle under the burden of being the main goalscoring threat for the west London outfit in the Premier League.
Tammy Abraham is the latest to get his chance - and boy has he waited a long time for the opportunity at Chelsea - with the England Under-21 international having been out on loan at Bristol City, Swansea and Aston Villa.
Abraham has twice lit up the Sky Bet Championship, scoring 23 and 25 for City and Villa respectively, and it would be wrong to judge him too harshly on a five-goal campaign in the Premier League for a Swansea side that forgot to attack.
Finishing as Chelsea's top goalscorer looks set to be a competitive heat with any number of wingers plus Abraham, Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi aiming to replace the goals vacated by Eden Hazard's sale to Real Madrid.
World Cup winner Giroud may be the best hold-up option, but if Frank Lampard is true to his word then Chelsea's youngsters will get chances and Abraham looks a fair bet.
At a shorter price, Callum Wilson looks a solid favourite to top-score for Bournemouth with only Josh King and a long-term injury standing in the way of the Cherries striker.
Another seemingly two-man race comes at Vicarage Road with Gerard Deulofeu fancied to frank the form of last season when he beat Watford skipper Troy Deeney by one.
Deulofeu spent part of last term out wide or on the bench, but revelled in a more central role with seven of his ten league goals coming from February 22 onwards.
There's always a chance clubs got busy in the final couple of weeks and the shape of the market looks a lot different come the big kick-off, however, at 16-1 Jurgen Locadia is worth chancing to be Brighton's main man in what should be a low-scoring heat.
New Brighton boss Graham Potter has toyed with the idea of playing 3-5-2 in pre-season and that may offer an extra starting spot alongside Glenn Murray, who will be 36 in September anyway.
If Potter is able to bring his free-flowing football with him from Swansea then Albion will need pace and movement in the attacking third. Locadia offers both and was arguably underused by former manager Chris Hughton as he preferred a more defensive 4-4-1-1 shape.
Locadia earned a move to Albion on the back of nine goals in 15 appearances for PSV and his woeful return of three Premier League goals may not be a true reflection of his ability.

Player of the year
Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk scooped the PFA Player of the Year award last season and Manchester City could split the vote again.
It is impossible to know whether it will be Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva or another of City's superstars who shines. Don't rule out David Silva getting an emotional vote either in his final season of a memorable career in Manchester.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is a worthy favourite in the young player equivalent, but for a bet head to Betway's market as sponsors of West Ham for the Hammer of the Year.
New signings have an outstanding record with Aaron Cresswell, Dimitri Payet, Marko Arnautovic and Lukasz Fabianski all winning it in their first year. During the last five years only Michail Antonio was not a debutant and even then Manuel Lanzini came second.
Split stakes on their big-money arrivals Sebastien Haller and Pablo Fornals.
