Sunday's Nations League predictions

Euro 2024 champions Spain began their Nations League campaign with a 0-0 draw with Serbia on Thursday but it should be a much more entertaining affair when they take on Switzerland on Sunday.

The Swiss lost 2-0 to Denmark last time out and finished the game with nine men after both Nico Elvedi and Granit Xhaka were sent off.

They should be able to put in an improved performance in this game and both teams have found the net in five of Switzerland’s last seven matches so another high-scoring encounter looks to be on the cards.

Four of Spain’s last five outings have seen both teams score and this could end up as a more exciting affair than their opener.

La Roja should have the quality to get the victory over these opponents, particularly with two of Switzerland’s key men suspended.

Poland may well have been flattered by a 3-2 victory over Scotland last time out with two of their goals coming from the penalty spot, and they could be brought back down to earth by Croatia.

The hosts were beaten 2-1 by Portugal but will enjoy the drop in class and could get the better of this Polish side.

Zlatko Dalic’s men had a disappointing Euro 2024 campaign in the toughest group but they did reach the final of the last Nations League and may have too much for Sunday's opponents.

Poland have lost four of their last seven away games and look likely to fall to another defeat.
