Scottish football predictions

Aberdeen are the only team to stop Celtic taking maximum points from a William Hill Scottish Premiership match this season, but they seem unlikely to repeat the trick when the top two meet at Pittodrie on Wednesday.

October's 2-2 draw between the sides came at the height of Aberdeen's remarkable start to the campaign, which saw the Dons win 15 and draw one of their first 16 games in all competitions.

However, it's since began to unravel for the Dons, who were thrashed 6-0 by Celtic in the League Cup semi-finals and have taken just two points from their last three league assignments.

At the same time, Celtic's march towards another title has continued apace and they head for Pittodrie having conceded only four goals and scored 40 in 13 league games.

Right-back Alistair Johnston, who has been able to take up advanced positions due to the Hoops’ territorial dominance of matches, has been responsible for four of those strikes and, at 12-1 with bet365, he looks a huge price to add to his tally on Wednesday.

Rangers host Kilmarnock and Motherwell visit Dundee in Wednesday's other top-flight fixtures.
