Team news

Wolves
Rayan Ait-Nouri could return but Yerson Mosquera has joined Jonny and Pedro Neto on the long-term list.

Newcastle
Martin Dubravka, Jamaal Lascelles, Paul Dummett, Jonjo Shelvey and Callum Wilson are all missing.

Match preview

The last five meetings have finished 1-1 so backing that scoreline could prove popular, although taking the inconsistent Geordies to win either half is more attractive.

The Toon are one of five teams yet to win this season despite having established half-time leads against West Ham and Watford.

They play well in patches but not for 90 minutes, and the same can be said of Wolves.

The Old Gold have failed to score in four of their six matches yet still find themselves further up the table than Steve Bruce's men courtesy of a pair of away wins at Watford and Southampton.

They are the only team yet to score a first-half goal and that inability to get out of the blocks should offer the Geordies a real chance of, at the very least, getting their noses in front.

Wolves have lost seven of their last nine at home in the Premier League and there's plenty of pace in the Newcastle frontline to make you think they can trouble Bruno Lage's men.
